Mula sa tindig hanggang sa kilos ng isang tunay na Binibini at Ginoo, pinatunayan nilang sa kabila ng pagkakaiba-iba ng mga tradisyon at pagkakakilanlan, nagtatagpo pa rin ang mga ito sa iisang layunin-ang pagpapahalaga at pagtataguyod sa ating kultura.
Ibinida ng mga mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang programa sa kolehiyo ng SCMBT ang kanilang husay at pagkamalikhain sa pamamagitan ng pagtatanghal ng mga natatanging pagkaing kumakatawan sa iba’t ibang lalawigan sa Pilipinas bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026.
CALAPAN CITY, ORIENTAL MINDORO — Executives from Intership Crew Philippines conducted a two-day institutional visit to the Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. (SCMBT) on August 26–27, 2026. The visit focused on inspecting campus facilities and reviewing academic programs to open international career pathways for Onboard Training Maritime and Hospitality students.
What a phenomenal two-day milestone celebration! 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. (𝗦𝗖𝗠𝗕𝗧) proudly joined forces with TESDA for their explosive 𝟯𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆—and we brought our absolute best to the spotlight!

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 I Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. successfully passed the Maritime Training Institution (MTI) inspection and evaluation with zero deficiencies, reaffirming the institution's commitment to delivering quality maritime education and training that meets national regulatory standards.
To strengthen awareness of the Spanish language and foster Filipino-Hispanic cultural exchange, Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. spearheaded the 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗼-𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 bringing together educators, government representatives, students, and partner organizations held at the Gabaldon Building.
Thirty top-performing incoming fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT) and Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering (BSMarE) programs participated in an employment readiness seminar and mock interview conducted by FLIGNO in preparation for their upcoming Onboard Training (OBT).

Mamangon, Assistant Dean of the College of Maritime Education and OBT Supervisor, conducted an industry visit and meeting with officials of ELWIN Crew Management Inc.
