Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng ika-59 na anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), ipinagdiwang ng Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. ang 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 na may temang “𝙉𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧,”

To strengthen awareness of the Spanish language and foster Filipino-Hispanic cultural exchange, Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. spearheaded the 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗼-𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 bringing together educators, government representatives, students, and partner organizations held at the Gabaldon Building.

Thirty top-performing incoming fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT) and Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering (BSMarE) programs participated in an employment readiness seminar and mock interview conducted by FLIGNO in preparation for their upcoming Onboard Training (OBT).

As part of its continuing commitment to providing quality maritime education and expanding career opportunities for its students and graduates, 2M John Rhome E.J. Mamangon, Assistant Dean of the College of Maritime Education and OBT Supervisor, conducted an industry visit and meeting with officials of ELWIN Crew Management Inc.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 I A total of 283 maritime students were recognized during the 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 held at Calapan City Convention Center, June 11.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 I Before embarking on another significant milestone, Third Year Maritime Students gathered in thanksgiving and prayer during a Thanksgiving Mass held at Sto. Niño Cathedral.
