The Starboard

The Starboard, the official student publication of Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc., is dedicated to informing, inspiring, and giving voice to the student community through responsible and meaningful journalism. Guided by its motto, “Sailing Towards Accuracy, Steering Towards the Path of Candor, with Undying Waves of Passion,” it upholds truth, integrity, and journalistic excellence while empowering student journalists to tell stories that matter.

SCMBT Sports Club

The SCMBT Sports Club is the official student-led athletic organization of Southwestern College of Maritime, Business & Technology Inc. in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro. Operating under the Student Affairs Office, it serves as the hub for physical fitness, varsity sports development, and campus recreational events across the institution's maritime, business, and secondary education programs.

Southwestern Crew of Cadets

The Southwestern Crew of Cadets is the student leadership and discipline body representing maritime and allied program cadets. Grounded in maritime traditions, the organization develops future seafarers through rigorous leadership training, regimented discipline, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.

Faro Hispánico

Faro Hispánico is the official student organization dedicated to the promotion of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures at Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology (SCMBT).
