Online Entrance Examination for Freshmen
(College Students)

To all aspiring Freshmen (College Students) of SCMBT, you may now take your entrance examination as part of entry requirement of enrollment.

Instructions and Guidelines 

Before Taking the Examination 

  • Prepare a stable internet connection. Make sure you have a reliable internet connection before starting the examination. 

  • Use an appropriate device. Use a laptop, desktop computer, or other compatible device. Make sure your device is sufficiently charged or connected to a power source. 

  • Choose a quiet and comfortable place. Take the examination in a location where you can concentrate without unnecessary distractions. 

  • Prepare the necessary materials. Prepare scratch paper and a pen or pencil for solving or organizing your answers. 

  • Read all instructions carefully. Make sure you understand the directions before proceeding with the examination. 

 
 

Steps in Taking the SCMBT Online Entrance Examination

Step 1:  Access the Examination Link 

Open the official SCMBT Online Entrance Examination link provided to you. 

Step 2: Enter Your Information 

Provide the required information accurately, such as your complete name, contact information, and other details requested in the examination form. 

Step 3: Read the General Instructions 

Carefully read the examination instructions before clicking the button to begin. 

Step 4: Start the Examination 

Once you are ready, begin the examination. The timer will start once you proceed with the test. 

Step 5: Answer the Questions 

Read each question carefully and select or enter the answer that you believe is correct. Manage your time wisely and avoid spending too much time on a single question. 

Step 6: Review Your Answers 

If the online examination system allows it, review your answers before submitting. Check that you have answered all items you can. 

Step 7: Submit the Examination 

After completing the test, click the SUBMIT button. Make sure that your answers have been successfully submitted before closing the examination page. 

General Instructions 

The following questions are designed to assess your general information, reasoning ability, and critical thinking skills. The examination is divided into four (4) parts, as indicated in the test questionnaire. 

You are given seventy (70) minutes to complete the entire examination. 

Although you are not expected to answer all the questions, you are encouraged to answer as many items as you can within the allotted time. Do not spend too much time on any one item. If you are unsure of an answer, proceed to the next question and return to it later, if the examination system allows. 

Please remember: 

  • Read each question carefully before answering. 

  • Choose the answer that you consider most appropriate. 

  • Manage your time wisely. 

  • Avoid refreshing or closing the examination page while the test is in progress. 

  • Do not open other websites, applications, or references unless specifically permitted. 

  • Do not ask another person to answer the examination on your behalf. 

  • Keep your examination environment quiet and free from distractions. 

Once you have submitted your examination, do not submit another response unless instructed by the SCMBT Guidance Office or authorized personnel. 

Read carefully. Think clearly. Manage your time wisely.
