𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 I Career Guidance Seminar Inspires Grade 12 Students to Turn Passion into Profession

Grade 12 students of Southwestern College of Maritime, Business, and Technology Inc. (SCMBT) gathered for an insightful career guidance seminar focused on preparing them for life beyond senior high school, February 12.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 I As part of their academic enrichment activities aimed at enhancing learning beyond the classroom, students and teachers of Victoria National High School successfully conducted an educational tour at Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc., February 7.

In line with the celebration of its 23rd Founding Anniversary, the institution carried out a meaningful Outreach Program at the BJMP Calapan City District Jail, bringing encouragement, joy, and a renewed sense of hope to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs).

Southwestern College of Maritime Business and Technology Inc. celebrated its 23rd Founding Anniversary at Lalud Court with an afternoon filled with games, laughter, and shared moments. The event reflected how far the institution has come and how strong the SCMBT community remains through the years.

United in faith and gratitude, a Thanksgiving Mass was offered after the motorcade to honor the institution’s journey, blessings, and shared commitment to service as part of the celebration of its 23rd Founding Anniversary.

23rd FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY I Southwestern College of Maritime, Business, and Technology, Inc. officially marked its 23rd Founding Anniversary with a vibrant motorcade participated in by the top management, teaching and non-teaching staffs, and students, together with the SCMBT mascot and marching band.

Embodying the theme, “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚,” Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. spread warmth and compassion to the elders of Hapag Aruga Foundation Inc. in Managpi, Calapan City, through an outreach program held on November 7.

In a shining moment of pride for the institution, 𝐊𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐌. 𝐒𝐮𝐚𝐧, a Hospitality and Tourism Management student, continues to make waves beyond the classroom. From her 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐧 in the 𝐇𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, Keah was invited as a guest speaker for the online event “𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬: 𝐌𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐀’𝐬 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 (𝐀𝐋𝐒) 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠” held on 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, via MS Teams.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 I Faculty members of Southwestern College of Maritime, Business, and Technology Inc. (SCMBT) actively participated in the Research Colloquium organized by the Divine Word College of Calapan (DWCC) Graduate School, held at Calapan City Convention Center, October 25.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | A total of 229 examinees from various secondary schools across the Mindoro provinces took the National Merchant Marine Aptitude Test (NaMMAT) held at the SCMBT Main Building, October 23.

Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology (SCMBT) took a proactive step in ensuring the smooth conduct of the recently National Merchant Marine Aptitude Test (NaMMAT) by participating in the comprehensive orientation for exam personnel held at Conference Room, October 22.
