𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 I First-year College students of the Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. were given the opportunity to better understand the electoral process as the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Calapan City Office, led by City Election Officer Atty. Suminigay P. Mirindato, conducted a voter’s education seminar at the SCMBT Annex Covered Court, April 12.
The on-campus session aimed to inform and empower young voters—especially first-time registrants—by providing essential knowledge on election laws, campaign regulations, and the rights and responsibilities of every Filipino citizen.
Atty. Mirindato delivered an engaging and informative talk, highlighting key aspects of the voting process and promoting active, responsible participation in democratic elections.
