With the theme “Forging Friendship Under the Sea,” the whole Southwestern College community including college and diploma students, faculty, staff, administration, and officers gathered for the fair celebration of camaraderie and creativity on the much-awaited Acquaintance Party held at Xevera Covered Court, September 20.
The venue was filled with pulsating colors as students came in their departmental and organization shirts representing their respective courses and organizations.
Excitement filled the venue as the school marching band made their first performance enlightening the mood of everyone. Likewise, the South Anchor Band did not fail to make an appearance, gracing the event with music that had everyone on their feet.
Meanwhile, cheers, laughter and applause filled the court as student representatives from each section showed their enthusiasm by keeping up with various Tiktok dance challenge. Raffle trickled all throughout the event giving groceries, and different appliances as prizes.
The said event was a success, reflecting the commitment of Southwestern College in abiding to unity, friendship, and the thrill of belonging to a diverse and dynamic community.
