𝗡𝗨𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗛 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | In line with the nationwide celebration of Nutrition Month, Southwesternians participated in a week-long classroom celebration embracing this year's theme,"𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝘼𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙖𝙣!"
The integrated classroom activities emphasized the importance of proper nutrition and environmental sustainability through meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
As part of the celebration, students showcased their creativity and practical skills through a poster-making contest, food journal, menu-making activity, role-play and a boodle fight featuring healthy Filipino meals and sustainable food practices. Through these activities, learners developed a deeper appreciation for nutritious food choices while promoting environmental stewardship and preserving Filipino culture, making the celebration both educational and enjoyable.
