In a collaborative effort to promote inclusivity, resilience, and preparedness, students from the College and Senior High School departments of Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. joined forces for a comprehensive Basic Life Support (BLS) Training held at SCMBT Annex Covered Court.
The initiative equipped participants with vital life-saving skills such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the Heimlich Maneuver, preparing them to confidently respond to medical emergencies. By learning these essential techniques, students are now better positioned to safeguard their peers and contribute to a safer school environment.
