CHED-MARINA Inspection and Evaluation Team Successfully Concludes Revisit Audit of SCMBT
The joint Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) Inspection and Evaluation Team have successfully concluded their Mandatory monitoring revisit and audit at Southwestern College of Maritime, Business & Technology Inc. (SCMBT) last March 5-7, 2025.
The inspection and evaluation team conducted a thorough assessment of key areas such as the quality standards system, curriculum, teaching methods and media of delivery, examination and assessment system, faculty, admission and retention, facilities and training equipment, shipboard training and research and extension.
Following this meticulous assessment, SCMBT have once again, proves its adept mastery and dutiful compliance competently dignified its spot as one of the fully compliant Maritime Higher Education Institution in the MIMAROPA Region thus ensuring its continued accreditation and government recognition.
