𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 I SCMBT Hosts 1st ManCom Meeting for Calapan City Private Schools
Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. successfully hosted the 1st Management Committee (ManCom) Meeting for Calendar Year 2025 of Calapan City Private Schools, bringing together key education officials, private school heads, and educators, March 4.
Among the distinguished attendees were Ma’am Susana Bautista, Schools Division Superintendent (SDS), Dr. Joey Gutierrez, Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), and Sir Allan Paigao, Chief of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD). Other DepEd officials, private school heads and principals, teachers, and school representatives were also present.
The meeting highlighted the recognition of private schools that actively participated in recent academic and extracurricular competitions at the division and regional levels. Significant updates on curriculum implementation were discussed, particularly proposed changes in the Senior High School (SHS) curriculum. Private schools were encouraged to take part in upcoming contests and events in the division.
Following the discussions, the meeting also facilitated the election of a new set of officers for the Calapan City Private Schools Association (CCPSA).
