JOINT CHED-MARINA AUDIT | 3rd Day

The CHED-MARINA Inspection and Evaluation Team started the third day of audit with a comprehensive inspection of the Engine Watchkeeping laboratory, focusing on ship engines and various equipment. This thorough check ensures that the institution adheres to the high standards required for maritime education.

Following the inspection, a debriefing was held to discuss findings from Day 2, with a focus on managing student forms and reviewing control documents. Observations regarding the institution's facilities utilized for maritime training were also presented.

The audit team conducted a thorough 100% check of all areas and expressed strong approval of SCMBT’s monitoring systems. The partnership between CHED and MARINA was reinforced, with appreciation extended to SCMBT for their commitment to quality maritime education.
