The BSHM 4th Year and BSTM 3rd Year students actively participated in an enriching orientation held at Gabaldon Hall, Oriental Mindoro National High School (OMNHS), featuring representatives from the Spanish Embassy in Manila and Instituto Cervantes de Manila.
The activity that is entitled Foro Hispano - Filipino, was graced by Beatriz Jimeno Ortas, Asesora de Educación of the Spanish Embassy in Manila, and Francisco Javier López Tapia, Director of Instituto Cervantes de Manila, and shared valuable insights on the Spanish language, culture, education, and the opportunities it can open for students in the hospitality and tourism industries. This meaningful engagement provided our students with a deeper appreciation of the Spanish language and strengthened their understanding of the cultural connections between the Philippines and Spain.
