Strengthening camaraderie, teamwork, and unity among its employees and school administrators, Southwestern College of Maritime, Business and Technology Inc. successfully conducted its Team Building Activity at La Sersita Casitas and Water Spa Beach Resort, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro, May 14-15.
Anchored on the theme, “𝘼𝙡𝙡 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙠: 𝙉𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧,” the two-day activity became an opportunity for participants to relax, bond, and strengthen cooperation outside the workplace through various fun-filled and engaging activities. One of the highlights of the team building was the friendly sports competition featuring basketball and volleyball games, where faculty members, staff, and employees showcased teamwork, sportsmanship, and unity.
As night fell, participants gathered for the much-awaited Socialization Night. Dressed in stylish bohemian-inspired outfits, everyone enjoyed an evening filled with laughter, music, and entertainment. The event also featured exciting competitions such as the Karaoke King and Queen, where participants impressed the crowd with their singing talents, and the intermission number showdown, which brought energy and creativity to the stage.
Adding warmth and memorable moments to the celebration was the bonfire gathering by the beach, enjoying the relaxing ambiance of the evening.
The activity not only provided relaxation and enjoyment but also strengthened the bond among members of the SCMBT community, reminding everyone of the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and unity in achieving shared goals.
With the success of the event, the institution continues to uphold its commitment to building stronger relationships and fostering a positive and united working environment for all.
